What if you moved the bookcase between the bed and the couch? That way you can separate your living area from your sleeping area and also use the shelf as a nightstand/charging zone?
I tried that out when the layout was a little different and it blocked the light a bit but I might try it again now! thank you so much!! I’ll let you know how it goes as soon as I do! 🫶🏼🥰

Do you have to keep all the furniture that came with the flat? Otherwise I would sell the bookshelf and the futon and get a real couch. I would also get an adjustable wall mount got the tv so it’s easier to watch from the bed too.
yes, i do have to keep it but i think i can make room in my parent's storage and (maybe eventually) get a couch 😅 i loveee the adjustable wall mount idea! 😍
